As with everything these days items from the internet can sometimes be cheaper, I’ve found a few bargains myself.
I would however advise against buying locks and security products as, 1. They are usually cheap imitations and secondly and more importantly thinking about security. You may give your address to where you are having the locks fitted , can you be sure your keys havent been copied and sol on for illegal use at a later date?
(yes crooks do stoop that low)
Some of the latest DIY counters and store products are cheaply made copies hence why they are cheap.
My opinion is they are slowly putting the local shops and small businesses out of business.
If you want longevity and like to support small businesses then personally I would buy from a trusted tradesperson.
1. Your helping to keep them in business.
2. They can also get you the genuine product you want that suits your budget.
3. Decent Independent traders need your feedback and unlikely to let you down.
